Well, folks, this week’s Where’s Ron Wednesday has brought me to Mayberry! I’ve stopped outside Floyd’s Barber Shop with Andy and Barney, and it looks like we’ve already found something to talk about.
I’m hoping it’s a friendly welcome and not a discussion about where I parked. With Barney involved, I suppose I’d better ask before I get too comfortable!
I’ve always enjoyed how The Andy Griffith Show brings ordinary moments into the story: neighbors visiting, friends helping each other, and a little laughter along the way.
Those are the kinds of moments that can become some of life’s sweetest blessings. We don’t always need a big occasion to enjoy good company or make someone feel welcome.
That’s one reason I love writing Finding God in Life’s Details. God can use the ordinary things around us to remind us of His goodness and give us opportunities to share kindness.
